Explode - explode your splines

Are you creating drawings for CNC production, you will need this module. Convert your splines and ellipses to lines so your CAM-program can generate your code.

EXPL and EXPLOPT
are the commands used to explode drawings. The usage of EXPL is very simple. Just select the objects you like to explode and they will be replaced by paths with short (or long) segments all according to your settings.

Your settings are changed with EXPLOPT. The settings will be stored in the registry to keep them between sessions.

There is two major methods to decide how many segments to split the object into:

• Set the number of segments
• Set an approximate length of the segments

You can also have obsolete nodes removed by turning on node reduction. All nodes that can be skipped without exceeding the set tolerance will removed

Installation
Download and run the installation file. Be sure to give your FastCAD32 or EasyCAD32 folder when prompted for the installation directory. The commands will automatically be available for use the next time you start your CAD-program. To see a list of available commands, type XPCFG at the command prompt, or select [Specs > Installed XPs...] from the Main menu.

Demo limitations

• EXPL will only explode one object for each time you restart the CAD-program or change your settings in EXPLOPT.

You may transfer this software to another computer provided that there is no possibility of the software being used in two places at the same time.
