The nice Christmas tree was removed December 8th 2005 due to the traffic load. The FastCAD add-on is till here for those of you who like to use it.

Layers

Do you get 200-layer-drawings? Without useful names?

The Layers XP will add a new way to manage layer visibility for you. Just click on an entity on the layer you like to hide - and the layer is hidden. To show a layer, press TAB and all hidden layers are displayed, so you can select the layer to show.

Commands

To launch the commands just type their names at the command prompt.

LAYERS	Click on an entity on the layer you like to hide or show. TAB will switch between HIDE or SHOW layers If you press CTRL and click on an entity, its layer name will be displayed SHIFT + click will set the current layer.
UNLAYERS	Undo the last LAYERS command. This will restore the layer visibility to the state before the last use of LAYERS.
LISTL	List everything on a layer.
MOVEL	Move everything on a layer to another layer. It will not UNDO or redraw.
Only in the FastCAD version
LSAVE	Save current layer status.
LREST	Toggle with last saved layer status.
HIDEF	Hide layers matching filter.
SHOWF	Show layers matching filter.
THAWF	Thaw layers matching filter.
FREEZEF	Freeze layers matching filter.
